Welcome to the final term in Year 1. We hope that you have had a wonderful Easter break. Your teacher will be Ms Atkins and your teaching assistants will be Mrs Davies and Mrs Bilea.
We have some exciting cross curricular content this term. After decorating some gingerbread snacks, we will begin to learn the story of The Gingerbread Man. We will explore wind-up mechanisms in DT and then create our own which we will use these to make moving story characters to retell a story. Our science and geography this term will focus on the seasons, weather and plants.
Our PE session will continue to be on a Thursday so please bring your PE kit in to school, in a named bag, and leave it on your peg. We will continue to have our weekly Spelling Challenge on a Friday.
As the weather continues to improve, please make sure that you come to school prepared for the sunshine, by wearing sun cream and bringing a sun hat.
